Fly Away With Me

No words are needed to describe the first video ad campaign by Louis Vuitton. As ever the partnership between Marc Jacobs and Katie Grand delivers a spellbinding short, featuring Arizona Muse, on a par with that Chanel advert.

Back to School

Despite this being more than a few weeks ago now, its still worth a mention. Grazia held a series of 3 workshops based on Blogging and key players in the Blogging sphere at Apples Regent Street store, which I was lucky enough to be a part of!

Focussing on everything from taking street style photos, to blogging as a career choice not only did I learn a lot but Ive since been featured on twitter and Grazia Daily as blogger of the week. Means a lot.

I hope some of you got the chance to go! If not the sessions were filmed and are available on iTunes, check it out.

The lady is a Tramp?

I saw these on Grazia Daily and something about the photos really struck me; I find Casey Legler extraordinarily beautiful, dressed as a male or female. Whats so alluring about her is how personable she is, so different to perhaps the only comparable model, Andrej Pejic, and cold and closed he seems.

I would love to see her in an editorial, especially in the UK,  Fashion needs less stereotypes and more innovation. http://models.fordmodels.com/models/7/talents/38664

Irreverent

Carine, and her vision of French Vogue, embodies all that the world likes to think of as Parisian style: a sense of chic that's impeccable and sometimes idiosyncratic and which forever lives on a moonlit street as seen through the lens of Helmut Newton."--Anna Wintour

After spending nigh on 8 hours in the library today I was practically delirious with joy to discover Irreverent by Carine Roitfeld on the bottom shelf of returned books. As many of you know or  guess Roitfeld is one of my Icons, she epitomises rock 'n roll Parisienne glamour in a way like no other.  I envy everything about the way she dresses... secretly, every no-bra-silk-shirt and leather trouser look is dedicated to her.

Irreverent charts Roitfelds career in French Vogue from the early 90's through to the present day and comprises some of the most stunning editorials I have ever seen. As Karl Lagerfeld puts it, 'if you close your eyes and imagine the ideal French woman, it would be Carine Roitfeld. She is a fashion visionary and a muse...'

H&M x Maison Martin Margiela

I braved the cold and the queues on Thursday to go to the launch of H&M x Maison Martin Margiela. After missing the Versace launch in Leeds and kicking myself for a about three months solid after this was too good to miss. Since moving down I think my taste has changed quite a bit and MMM reflects that; dark block colours and loose silken shapes.

This seems to be one of the most sought after H&M collaborations yet, so despite getting to White City at 8.20am I didn't get through the doors until gone 10am. I was lusting after the silver clutch but with only x10 per store that was a pipe dream. These are just a few Instagram shots of what i saw.

waaah apologies for the lack of coherent posting of late, I'm drowning under a sea of unwritten essays and coat presentations.....
